fun piece! this year, although being in my forties for a few years decided to start my first mini garden so far. fingers crossed it's looking promising except for my cilantro.
we simply startrd with 2 types tomatoes big ones and grape tomatoes (my pick) and lots of jalapenos and about to add sweet peppers soon too hopefully not to late but we are germinating in a paper towel and ziplock bag to start them. My cilantro is not thriving I'm thinking about starting again with a bigger jar and only window light
We have cilantro and it seems to do better with afternoon shade (I am not the plant lady, my husband is, so disclaimer on anything I say as questionable). He did plant shishito peppers and they did so well recently! They’re amazing sautéed in some olive oil on the cast iron.

We have some jalepenos too! They are actually looking good so far. 🤞🏻
Cool! What is it with cilantro? It was the first to wilt in this heat. What else do you have in your garden?!

yea I want to redo Cilantro cause I use it a lot so I'm hoping it's not too late to begin again this week
Being a gardener in South Florida was impossible for me - everything died, so Kudos to you for being a Florida Millennial Gardener.
Maybe pivot to mango trees? I read a memoir set in Fort Myers and sounds like they thrive in the area!
