We have an unscripted convo (rather than writing) about once a month. During this convo, we ridicule each other while discussing books and other things we are currently loving. Why? Because we’ve never felt so alive.
🤓 Awkward? Yes.
😬 Cringy? Mmmhmm.
🤩 Fun? The most.

9:52 — We are both a little tired of throwing a kid birthday party. Bethany threw herself a bingo birthday party and it was A+.
14:20 — We discuss the Netflix lifestyle show With Love, Meghan. Look, we have mixed feelings. But Bethany and her kids made a delicious cake using a recipe from the show so there’s that.
20:37 — We “turn a phrase like Truman” — “the hate train will have to Choo-choo without me” and “they bought the farm.”
28:22 — Kara gives an update on her attempts to abstain from Starbucks (one of Kara’s 24 changes for 2024 that she’s still going strong on) and how much money she’s saved by not showing up (testing the guru theory that your daily latte can actually make a difference in your finances).
32:09 — Tayvis talk. Taylor, where are you? The Kelce brothers fan girled on their podcast over Heavyweights with Ben Stiller and we are here for it.
36:25 — The “Pedigree of Paula” moment is given to someone who displays class and character in a way that reminds us of our mother. This month, it goes to Mindy Kaling for taking it on the chin from Meghan Markle, we mean Sussex.
40:29 — “Sweaty Betty & Dare to Kare!” — we give updates on exercise challenges and wins. Kara kept up her 5 day per week running streak and ran the fastest 5k of her life. Bethany is now doing a 7.5 on the treadmill to compete. She also attended a gym class with her husbo and highly recommends.
48:11 — “Ask Bethany!” — A segment that allows our Knockers to ask Bethany anything you want and receive an honest, unfiltered response! Leave it in the caaaaaaawments!
53:43 — “Taste of Kara”— Kara is into true crime right now. We discuss American Manhunt: O.J. Simpson on Netflix. We compare our childhood memories of the case to our revelations after watching the Netflix series. Where were you when the O.J. verdict was read?
1:01:47 — Where do you hear the phrase “Knock it off”? Walton Goggins (aka Rick Hatchett) uttered it to his GF on White Lotus recently.
