Even though I don’t have kids, I resonate with this so much! I love the way you broke it down and shared your internal thoughts (that I have also had myself). I’m curious, what number is your husband?
<3 thank you for that! So... he doesn't like being "typed" (which is so his type hah!) but he's closest to a 5 - the investigator. They like to figure out how things work, they tend to be less in touch with their emotions. It is interesting to see what enneagram #s are most common pairings! Apparently 1's are *common* with 2's (the helpers) and 7s (because we go to 7 in our healthy space).
Oh interesting, I have a lot of friends that are 5s and tend to get along well with them as a 1. My husband isn’t all that interested in it, but he’s closest to a 7, which I was thinking about (and to add to your comment) sometimes it annoys me - probably because I want to be there all the time 😬 - but mostly I enjoy him being the “enthusiast” so he can sort of guide me in that direction by example.
I'm a 6w5, probably a little on the unbalanced side at the moment. I'm hardworking, dependable, organized, anxious, and suspicious of others. I'm slowly learning to trust that others have good intentions, and also trust myself and my own intuition. I often seek reassurance that I'm making the right choice. At the same time, I think I bring a sense of steadiness to the office and people look to me for leadership.
Thank you for sharing Kuleigh. I admire so much the 6’s loyalty to their people and steadfastness. I can also relate to often wondering what others intentions are. It’s tough not to be a critic about that, in today’s world. However, there are really fine folks out there that remind me people are generally good at heart ❤️. Thanks for reading!
Take this test. It is so interesting to see where you stand!!

I love that you are 1 with a 7... We need that positive example in our lives to remind us not to take ourselves so seriously!

Great story 👍
Thank you Stephen
This is fascinating. It is something that I haven’t even heard of this, thank you.
Thanks, Jon! Wonder if you’ll take a test now 😄
